Hi Santa

The kids loved Santa.  No tears. No hesitation.  After Isaac got off Santa's lap he turned around and reached out for a Santa high five.  It was great!

Ike's Reward

When Isaac was in the beginning stages of potty training Pops (my Dad) told him that he'd take him on a tractor ride when he went potty on the big potty all by himself.  It was a big motivation for this little man.  So, sure enough Pops showed up in his big green tractor at 8am one morning for Ike's reward.  He was so PROUD and still is talking about it.  "RoRo" went too. 
One thing that Pops & RoRo taught Ike is that when you farm you get to spit.  Ike in very broken 2 year old English told me this.  (how cute is that?)
Thanks Pops for investing in our kids lives.  You mean a lot to them & us.

A Cinderella Weekend

Last weekend our high school presented Cinderella!  Audrey went on Saturday night with Nana & Poppa and then went on Sunday afternoon with Mima, Mommy, Cousin Halle and some friends.  She really loved it and has even been reciting some lines and scenes.

A beautiful fall afternoon.  While Caroline slept in her crib like a good baby girl.  I raked.  They played.

Resemblance

Many people ask "who does she look like?"

Well, here's Audrey at 2 months. 

And here's Caroline at 2 months.  

Sure look like sisters to me! 

Two Months

You are two months old. 

{please excuse my wordiness here but I need this info for my forgetful brain}

Some note worthy facts about my baby girl:

*  you are in size 1 diapers

*  at 2 months of age you weigh 12lbs 4oz (75%)

*  you are 23in tall (75%)

*  one of your favorite things to do is take a bath- you absolutely LOVE your baths

*  you like are settling into a nice little routine- morning nap and most the time an afternoon nap with a power nap in the evening

*  you are still sleeping in our room in the bassinet

*  you like a binkie

*  your bottom lip comes out quickly if you are scared or sad

*  your brother & sister love holding you and you are great at going with the flow

*  you are a wonderful cuddler

*  you started smiling right around 6 weeks

*  you love to gurgle & talk

*  when Mommy sticks her tongue out - you do it too!  You are so smart! 

I could go on and on.  We love you Caroline and can't imagine life without you!

Halloween 2011

Wow.  Halloween is a lot of work with 3 young kids who are hopped up on sugar and a Mom that SHOULD be just to endure.  (that's a hint for me next year)
