TEN Years
We celebrated 10 years of marriage on June 15th.
10 years doesn't seem like a long time but when I think of all that's happened in those 10 years it seems like a LOT longer than that. {It might seem like longer than 10 because we actually started dating 19 years ago.}
To those of you who have been married for 30 + years 10 may seem like a drop in the bucket but to those only on their first year of marriage 10 may seem like forever away.
As many marriages that end in divorce an anniversary should be such a celebration, a pat on the back, a feel good moment- you are making it work even when it's not easy, you are loving even when you aren't liking- and you are living out the vows you said to each other on that wedding day.

A Daddy
March 6, 2007 at 8:52am my husband became a Daddy for the first time. He was and still is simply the best.
Turning THREE
My little man turned three back on May 22.
When I asked him what kind of party he wanted- it was an easy answer "tractors"!
A special surprise from Pops was bringing the tractor to his party.
Here is Pops & Ike driving up in the big John Deere.
Ike got a big bike from us.
A ball glove & mitt (and backpack for preschool) from MiMa & Pops.
He got a new battery for his motorized Jeep from Uncle Dan & Great Nana.

Caroline had sweet potatoes. Next year baby girl you'll get the "good" food.
