What a fun filled string of days. Started Wednesday night with Max - our German foreign exchange student making it back to KS for a 10 day visit. No pictures to show for Wednesday.
Thursday was a retirement party for my Mom. We threw a good party and then had dinner at the Cabin after with babysitters behind w/ the wee ones.
Friday we went to explore "Dead Man's Fall". It's on my parents new piece of land that they bought from my Dad's parents. We took a hay rack ride then had to hike to see...
this. It was really neat. A keystone at the front of the tunnel said 1893 (we think- the last two digits are hard to read).
pretty view
looks like a picture.
Caroline stayed behind on the trailor with GG.
Good times.
KS kids (minus Halle who was at a softball game).
Daddy & Ike.
Me and my girls.
Saturday evening I got to chill with the class of 1997 (or at least some of them). We've been out 15 years!
All weekend we had these pools filled. It was sure hot!
Sunday night we went to a wedding party and we had our very own chaffeaur named Maximilion from Germany! He was the best! We even had the hotrod shinned up for the event!
Got the kiddos with babysitters and had ourselves a fun, fun evening.
Monday we went to visit the graves. Here's my Grandpa Colyn's grave.
And found Grandpa Colyn's flag flying. Grandpa Colyn served in Africa.
My Grandma and Grandpa Scoby's graves. They were married in August of 1944. 2 months after D-Day. Just incredible.
