Well, ok not Santa but thanks MiMa & Pops- Ike is now dressed a little more properly.

December

Wow.  This month is almost gone.  Because I'm not keeping up with much these days (it seems like) I want to document now before I forget.

Kansas City friends

 Watching the Wildcats/Reading with Mima

 Last time in the bassinet.  Passing it on to Baby Beau.

 Isaac's job ~ putting the silverware away.

 Caroline's first experience with the Bumbo.  She lasted maybe 3 minutes before she was tired of holding up that big noggin.

 Brrrr.  It's cold out there baby!

 Pops & Ike are off.  They had a big morning of "work" to do.  Pops had 8 big round bales on the back of the tractor so he couldn't even pull into our neighborhood.

 Meeting Beau Charles.  My "baby" brother (who is 28) had a baby.  {now, that's a little weird to say}. 

He's just adorable and from the size of his hands I think he's going to pass his cuz Caroline in size quickly. 

 I/we all went shopping once (to Target only) this Holiday season and that was ENOUGH.  I like clicking the mouse a lot better.  Audrey was surrounded by a big Sams Club "run".



The Christmas Story

This was played at church yesterday.  It's pretty cute.

3 months

Santa PLEASE...

bring this boy some "boyish" dress up clothes.

 and then somedays I'm just glad the boy has some "clothes" on at all.  I'll take what I can get.

Functional & Fun

These are very functional for a nursing mother and they just became really fun for kids.  Who knew?

Feeling...

better and fatter than ever.

Our little...

RSV baby.
Yep.  Sweet Caroline at 3 months old (or one day shy) was diagnosed with RSV.  Poor baby.  She's handling it like a champ for the most part.  Doctor Daddy's watching her like a hawk.  Mommy's just hanging in there doing lots of holding & loving, holding & loving and lots and lots of praying. 

A smiley sick baby.  Nothings stopping this girl from smiling.

 But, I REALLY don't feel well.

 Holding my sweet baby and restraining my little man.  

 She's sleeping upright.  I'm sleeping 2 feet away with one eye open. 

 He's a crazy boy but around "Cacine" he is so sweet and loves giving her kisses.   

And as this pic was being taken she started to cough.  Lets just say she's going to have super strong abs after this sickness is over.

 And she sleeps, all those bad coughing fits & breathing treatments wear her out.



Hi Santa

The kids loved Santa.  No tears. No hesitation.  After Isaac got off Santa's lap he turned around and reached out for a Santa high five.  It was great!

Ike's Reward

When Isaac was in the beginning stages of potty training Pops (my Dad) told him that he'd take him on a tractor ride when he went potty on the big potty all by himself.  It was a big motivation for this little man.  So, sure enough Pops showed up in his big green tractor at 8am one morning for Ike's reward.  He was so PROUD and still is talking about it.  "RoRo" went too. 
One thing that Pops & RoRo taught Ike is that when you farm you get to spit.  Ike in very broken 2 year old English told me this.  (how cute is that?)
Thanks Pops for investing in our kids lives.  You mean a lot to them & us.

A Cinderella Weekend

Last weekend our high school presented Cinderella!  Audrey went on Saturday night with Nana & Poppa and then went on Sunday afternoon with Mima, Mommy, Cousin Halle and some friends.  She really loved it and has even been reciting some lines and scenes.
