Desperation
I bought this book on amazon the other day out of sheer desperation. (see pics below) I am hoping there are some magic activities that keep this busy little toddler occupied for at least ten minutes at a time. (she won't watch tv or dvd's for more than 10 mins -max)
Oh, it'd be fun to dump the box of Rice Krispies down the sink and then push them down the drain.
Oh, it'd be fun to take a shower with Mommy because she really doesn't need 3 minutes of alone time anyway. (Audrey with her hair in a towel just like Mommy does after her shower)

Good Idea (I think)
I'm not a fan of buying 2, 3 and even 4 dollar cards- that's just hard for me. So, when we got married I came up with this idea: (let's just say Chris was in TOTAL agreeance on this idea)
* items needed: blank book and a pen
* for birthday's holiday's, anniversaries- any occasion that would warrant a card you go and write in the book- that's it.
* not only do we write "sweet nothings" in the book-- we write what we did to celebrate that ocassion
What I like most about this idea is:
--it costs nothing (after you buy the book which shouldn't be much)
--looking back and reading what we did in years past for certain occasions and... the sweet one liners are always nice to read too :-)
--it's just easy!

Harvest Time
This past 4th of July weekend we went out to visit Pops in the field and Halle, Roman & Audrey got a ride in the combine with Pops and Uncle Luke.
What a beautiful time of year!
