The Beach

The next day we drove 45 minutes to the beach house.  This day wasn't near as warm(60's) as our days at Disney but we survived!

 Audrey & Pops worked long and hard on this sand castle.  (and then 2 hours later some annoying middle school boys came by and destroyed it- good thing I was down the street getting a Diet Coke otherwise they would have met Mean Kansas Momma)
They had more fun...

 Uncle Ben & Audrey
 Close your mouth Dear.
 On our walk to the beach.  So, I should have prepared better and had them in shorts for the ocean but they were in the wash b/c they got all wet in the sand & water before.
 Running to the ocean!
 AUDREY
 And the next day- it was time to go home.
After about a 90 minute delay out of LAX we boarded and 3 hours and 20 mins later we were home.
 Caroline slept in the sling for a long time.  Such a good baby.
 And like any good boy/man Ike fell asleep with his binkie in his mouth and his hand down his pants.
There's California.  Can't wait to go back!

Day 3 Parade and OJ

The parade was AMAZING!  Music, characters and just FUN!

 The next morning the guys & kids made us fresh squeezed orange juice.  Picked the oranges, squeezed them (w/ the help of a juicer) and served the BEST orange juice.  (no sugar was added- pure perfection)

 Pops and the grandkids
 Audrey and her sister.

Day 3 Part I

Day 3- another day at Disney

Cute babies.  They were both sitting there and then we noticed the sign and thought it was pretty perfect.

 Entrance and a stop for a whole group photo.
 Oh Daffy!
 Five from the Chipmunk.
 It's a lifesize BUZZ!!!  And then we rode on the Buzz Lightyear ride!  Ike would barely pose for the pic b/c he just couldn't keep his eyes off of Buzz.
 We went to Storytime with a Princess and the Princess was Cinderella- which was perfect b/c that's Audrey's favorite!
 Does the shoe fit Audrey?  Bummer.  Nope.
 Smiles from CST.
 The Princess Audrey.
 Cuties.
 Face paint!
 Had to throw this in there b/c this was my pose many times throughout the day.  {at least I'm more discrete than Audrey}

Day 2 part II

After lunch and cleaning up a major blowout we went and rode Indiana Jones.  Audrey made the height cut (by a few hairs) and so she went.  I'm still feeling a little guilty about this one but hopefully no long lasting scars.  Let's just say it was slightly scary for a 4 year old and there were a few tears.
 Meeting Belle made it ALL better!
 This was fun!  {Pops almost had more fun than the kids on this one}
 This is the beginning of It's a Small World Ride.  It was adorable and just was just so happy and innocent!
 The 3 big cousins on a fire truck.
 Oh Goofy!
 Minnie.  She's about the cutest thing ever.
 One the bus ride to the cars.  William already had his thumb and hair going.  He was a tired boy.  Audrey was just so happy she couldn't stop smiling.
Back home for dinner and bedtime.

Day Two part I

Day Two.  Drove to Disney Land (30 min drive from B&C's house).

Here's Audrey ready to go in her one of a kind handmade Disney dress made by someone Ben knows.
{that CA sun was SO bright}
 In the doors and saw Goofy!

 Our crew (minus Mima taking the pic).  (A&I were having eye problems at first- it was just SO bright - poor KS kids aren't used to sun)
 Dumbo ride!

 Pops riding Dumbo by himself.  Even Pops thinks Disney is the happiest place on Earth.

Some of the girls.

 Baby Caroline.  Happy as a clam.
 The teacup ride!
 Caroline decided to make her trip very memorable by having her biggest blowout to date.  It was EVERYWHERE.
Ok.  That gets us to lunch on the first day.
