After receiving many, many comments and reactions when I pull out my kitchen scissors I have decided to tell you about my love for for this great kitchen tool.
{I own three pairs and I love them all fairly equally- although my real true favorite are the ones w/ the blue dot but the others rank highly as well}
{Cutting a hotdog is one of the many things I use scissors for}
{Heck, this day I was making hotdogs and mac and cheese for the kids for lunch and instead of dirtying a knife I just used the scissors to cut my margarine.}
{My favorite thing to use the scissors for is for trimming chicken and meat and for dicing it up or in strips- however you prefer}
Some other things I use the scissors for:
* pancakes- try it and you'll never go back. Audrey still likes her pancakes and waffles cut and Ike needs his diced and using the scissors makes my life at meal time so much easier!
* veggies- green beans in small bite sized pieces
* spaghetti or any pasta
* grilled cheese- the scissors makes such precise cuts and minimizes squishing all the cheese right out the sides of the sandwich
~I'm sure I'll think of many more foods, but for now this should be enough to sell you on the scissors too!~

I love my kitchen scissors too! They are so much handier than knives for cutting up kids food.

Gina F- you are right! It is a shame- I'm kind of embarrased!
I do use marg. for mac and cheese, I just like the taste of marg. best in boxed mac and cheese. Weird I know.
I'm with you - do you have the pampered chef salad chopper - double blades/scissors - they rock! oh, and I totally here you on the pile of shoes - drives me crazy a bit :)
