The next day we drove 45 minutes to the beach house. This day wasn't near as warm(60's) as our days at Disney but we survived!
Audrey & Pops worked long and hard on this sand castle. (and then 2 hours later some annoying middle school boys came by and destroyed it- good thing I was down the street getting a Diet Coke otherwise they would have met Mean Kansas Momma)

On our walk to the beach. So, I should have prepared better and had them in shorts for the ocean but they were in the wash b/c they got all wet in the sand & water before.

And the next day- it was time to go home.
After about a 90 minute delay out of LAX we boarded and 3 hours and 20 mins later we were home.
Caroline slept in the sling for a long time. Such a good baby.
And like any good boy/man Ike fell asleep with his binkie in his mouth and his hand down his pants.
There's California. Can't wait to go back!

When we lived in VA and went to the beach, we went in March - freezing!!! Tristan got so wet in the water we had to go walk and get him more clothes. All they had were shorts outfits (which Isaac is wearing the shirt to as we speak), so poor man was just cuddled in my coat and his shorts as we walked on the board walk.
